Second Thoughts Arn't Always Bad,

When this game first hit the horizon of almost releasing I was on it like flys on...well, you get the picture. Before actually going out and purchasing it (it was held back multiple times) I decided to look into it some more before possibly wasting $60. I went on YouTube to see some actual gameplay. Bad idea, YouTube didnt do the game justice whatsoever. About 2 months later I came across it again still curious, so I came on amazon and read some reviews. After convincing myself to go to Gamecrazy to buy it for $40, I went home and put it in. From the beginning, my eyes were glued to this game.
The story, is just incredible. Funny moments, sad war moments, just a mixture of everything. Seriously, its like watching a movie during the cutscenes. If they put all the cutscenes together in this game, it would be a great movie. Im not over exaggerating one bit. The graphics during the cutscenes are just jaw-dropping. I couldnt ask for more with the cutscenes. The dismemberment is sweet, same with the action cam. They did a good job with that.
Now, onto the cons. I thought they could of done a little better job buffering and making the 1st person view of the gun alittle more...well, less sloppy? Maybe its just me, but the hands and the gun itself in the 1st person view is, pretty dull. Multiplayer, well, sort of non-existent. I played one round, yeah its fun but its not COD4 multiplayer fun. Noone really plays it, only two servers came up when I searched, both with 4 or less people. Theres a lot of lag. I dont think they were really focusing on the multiplayer in this game. Really, it could of been something. But its whatever, I didnt really buy it to play the multiplayer. Another con, theres no bullet holes in the bodies. Even in cutscenes. I was hoping maybe when someone gets shot in the head in a cutscene there would be a mark somewhere. That kind of disappointed me. I mean it is a M game, so milk that title the best you can!
Overall, I give it a 4/4.5 out of 5. The fun factor is there, deffinetly. I think what keeps you playing is the cutscenes. Well worth the $40 I payed for it used. Not going to sell it, its a keeper. Even my father played it and said he was going to get a copy on PS3. I found that kind of funny. Go buy it, youll be extremely surprised what comes out of it; I know I was.

I was a HUGE fan of the original two game on PC. So I decided to get this for the 360 as my PC can't handle these games anymore. I'll have to say I was a little disappoint. But mostly because it didn't add much to the old games other than improved graphics and some new toys. Maybe I set my bar too high.
Part of this is good. They didn't fix what didn't need fixing! The gameplay and action are just as good as ever. The slow-mo deal is awesome!! The MG and bazooka teams are way fun to play with and at the end of the game you actually get THREE squads to play with.
The bad: tank levels feel tacked on and personally too me out of the immersion. MP looks bad, plays okay, and overall just feels tacked on as well. And although the game looks great...not nearly as good as the E3 trailer we all saw a few years ago.
Overall, great game...but probably a rental for most. I will keep this as I can't get the other games on the 360 yet.

This game is very slow and frustrating. Good graphics. I cannot seem to understand if I am playing a shooter game, a movie game, or a strategy game??? Would be nice if it was just one or the other.
Very disapointing overall.
