LEAVE THE Battleship with THIS GAME,
by LITE BITE, 2009-01-03
ALTHOUGH, IT'S LIKE PLAYING THE ORIGINAL BOARD CAMES, THE USER INTERFACE "bites" BIG TIME. WHEN WE'RE PLAYING BOOGLE, AND TRY HIGHLIGHTING THE WORD, MY WII REMOTE TOTALLY JUMPS ALL AROUND. I WANTED TO THROW MY REMOTE AT HASBORO. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS GAME.
LEAVE THE BATTLESHIP & PLAY ANOTHER WII GAME.
Family Game NIght is so Worth it!,
by V. McMillen, 2009-01-02
I can't say I love all the games, but the Sorry Sliders is the best, it has three versions you can play and its a piece of cake to figure out---the reviewers who say they can't figure out the game are really lame, this game is lots of fun, my 6 year old grandson plays with us and its great. My daughter loves the Boggle game and we like Yahtzee and Battleship too---Great investment, no game parts to lose, love it!
Family Game Night Review,
by Valerie Vernaccini, 2008-12-31
This game is a blast. If you played board games when you were a kid, you will love the video game version. It can become addictive, however, and you may find yourself looking at the clock 2 hours later wondering where the time went! It is a great way to spend an evening with the family. I would highly recommend this game.
Pretty funny, keeps us amused,

My boyfriend and I are enjoying playing this. I can imagine, giggling thorugh the winter playing battleship and sorry sliders! pretty retro!
Great game for the family!,

This is a great game to have for the family!
My son and I love to play board games, but can seldom get the other two people in our family to play. Then there's the issue of missing pieces, or needing to stop playing for a while for whatever reason. Having the game on the Wii neatly takes care of all those issues. The added attraction of showing it all on a 60 inch TV doesn't hurt either.
The prizes and trophies are a really nice touch too. Although we would like to be able to see the prizes better, it's still neat to be able to look around our "room" and see everything.
Probably the best thing about it is that in addition to the standard version of the game, there's an advanced version offered AND a customizable version. This enticed our other two family members out and we very quickly ramped up Sorry Sliders (a game we'd never played before) to the hardest settings we could come up with with and had a wonderful time complaining about our bad luck on our turns!
I don't care much for playing it all by myself. But I can see my son doing so in order to get all the prizes and trophies available. We do have a reall great time playing it together. It's so rare that we get to play a game with more than just the two of us, that the computer players are a real treat.
I'm hoping they come out with more classic games ported over to Wii in the future.
